When Eddie or Bogie were in a picture, they were there... They grabbed your attention. I've never seen Eddie be bad in a picture or fair which I think is even worse. Eddie was always off beat, different. He never came off as an actor acting. It was never just Eddie O'Brien giving another Eddie O'Brien performance. If you saw him in a film you'd say, "This is interesting. This is going to be colorful ." No, they're not going to say rotten things about Eddie O'Brien.
